Letter to the Editor
Sir: We appreciate Dr. Frankenburg’s thoughtful letter outlining
her reservations about the proposed use of folate supplementation
in the psychiatric field. Dr. Frankenburg points out a
number of concerns regarding potentially harmful effects of folate.
We have considered these issues and conducted some additional
literature review to address her questions.
